Here are some examples of projects we have undertaken. This just
an illustration of the range of our work. We are always ready for new challenges. |

|
Development of XML-based tools for website development. This project, for
a big multinational corporation, was for the development of high-productivity
tools that can generate pages to conform to the corporate style standards. The
tools are now used for several of their sites and are being evaluated for use
worldwide. We managed the development, provided technical leadership and
contributed to the development work. |

Project management for the development of extranet sites. The sites were
B2B e-commerce sites for use by partners of our hightech client. The sites used
sophisticated personalisation techniques to tailor the content to the profile of
each visitor to the site. We managed the whole project, contributed to the
technical development work and developed much of the site content. |

|
|
|
Rollout of software infrastucture components. Our client was
standardising on new software for business intelligence and information
management in all its European operations. We were responsible for setting
up distribution, training, and support functions and for managing the changeover.
It was achieved without any disruptions to normal working. |

|
|
|
Consultancy on datamart strategy and implementation. We were asked to
provide stategic guidance on the partitioning of business intelligence information
between a central data warehouse and autonomous datamarts across Europe. We also defined
the hardware and software platforms to be used by the datamarts and set up
processes for the co-ordination of developments and expertise between the datamart
development departments. |

Virtual reality software development. The project was for
the development of tools for virtual reality applications on PCs, using virtual worlds
to represent information in the computer. We set up the project and managed it right
the way through. |

|
|
|
Consultancy on software infrastructure. Several large corporate clients
have asked for advice on hardware and software infrastucture. We can analyse
requirements, evaluate alternative approaches, make recommendations and negotiate
purchases and license terms. |

|
|
|
|
Software distribution. Our client was a large PC software vendor who asked us for
help in setting up distribution arrangements in Japan. We identified possible partners,
negotiated terms and arranged for the localisation of products. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Database marketing. The UK operation of one of the biggest RDBMS vendors asked us
for help setting up and running marketing programs. We acted as their marketing
department, contributing to a period of spectacular growth. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Defence project management. We were responsible for the project management
and technical design of a realtime system for the capture and validation of satellite
imaging information. |
